Unless one of our amazing farmhands decides to post one, there will be no Brood Farm felfie posted on Instagram today. How about a belfie? (I was thinking beach + selfie, but this mash-up doesn't exactly have a ring to it-- "belfie" sounds terrible.)

Kids, the last week of January, there's not a lot of competition for shell hunting, so we've found some really cool ones to show you!

John has a banking conference, and because he was so kind as to schedule it during the milking off-season, I got to tag along -- to the Florida coast.

It took the first day to really relax into it, but John and I are thoroughly enjoying our time together exploring a new place. I wouldn't rather adventure with anyone else!

And while I miss the farm and loving on my kiddos and goat ladies, I know I've left them all in capable hands.

We've enjoyed running on the beach, but the jogging trails are beautiful here, too.
