Brooding On

Spring Open Farm is Scheduled . . . and You're Invited!

Mark your calendars -- It's time for our 2nd Annual Open Farm!

Come celebrate SPRING with us here at Brood Farm! Frolic with the goat babies, feed the chickens, pet the calf, taste the milk, sample the cheese. Bring the entire family to join in the fun on this Saturday afternoon of Easter weekend. While you're here, you can pick up some free soap samples and enter your name in the drawing for a gift box full of Brood Farm soaps!

This is a drop-in event, so come for some or all of the three hours. Feel free to walk the farm, explore the paths, ask all the questions you'd like, and just generally make our farm your farm. The farm visit is, of course, free of charge, but we will have soap and eggs available for sale in the barn store for those who are interested in taking some home.

To get to the farm:
Headed North through Cave City, turn right onto Johnson Street (just before you get to Subway) and follow it to the end. Turn right. Our gravel driveway will be down the road a bit on the left -- you'll see the Brood Farm sign. The drive is just over a half-mile long and ends at the barn.

In case of inclement weather, we will post an update here on the blog as well as on our Facebook page with a rescheduled event time.

Spread the word and bring a friend. We look forward to sharing this special day with all of you who join us in our mission to take care and eat well!
