Construction continues on the new farmhouse. Each morning, the crew rolls in around 7:00 AM as my little ones watch all the magic from our trailer's front door.
Then this one, who is usually later to rise, sits in her jammies and sips her coffee as she watches the progress through the kitchen window (yes, coffee. I know.).
Even the goats are curious about what's going on. Periodically throughout the day, they meet up for pow-wows, discussing what's going on just beyond their fence. For the most part, they're handling it well, but they are not big fans of the debris-burning fires or the enormous dump trucks. Those send them loping off, ears flapping, toward the security of the barn.
Before all the gravel fill came in, Siri was pretty sure we were building her a grandiose litter box. But, since those dreams have been crushed, she's mostly made herself scarce while our builders are present.
For the most part, we are all enjoying our front row seats for all the action. :)
